I got this recipie out of a cookbook, tried it for the first time today and have decided this will be a regular from now on. So good, filling and easy-easy-easy! Here is a step by step I put together.
Here is what you'll need:
1 tablespoon vegtable oil
1 lb. boneless, skinless chicken breast
1 green pepper sliced
1 onion sliced
1 can Cream of Chicken Soup
1/2 teaspoon chili powder
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
tortillas
Start by adding the oil to your skillet then add chicken (I used pre cooked and seasoned chicken) cook on medium-high heat until chicken in browned. |
Chop up your green pepper and onions. I later added red peppers too. It added a lot more flavor. |
Reduce heat to medium and add onion and peppers. Cook until they are tender or slightly browned. |
Now add the Cream of Chicken soup, chili powder and garlic powder. The recipie calls for certain amounts of the garlic and chili powders, I just added to taste. |
Let it all cook until the mixture is hot and bubbling. |
I fashioned a plate out of foil and put my tortillas in the oven for about 3 mins. It came out warm and crispy, if you don't wanna wait pop it in the microwave. |
Add chicken mixture to warm tortilla, fold and eat! Enjoy! |
